A Rare & Classic 3 Generation Photo

I've recently scanned a very interesting vintage photo circa 1983. Very meaningful...A lot of memories. The place, Blk 207, Bedok Interchange Food Centre. The background reflects the signboard of a dessert store, my grand-dad's. He's non other than the stout man in the background. Currently bed ridden, lost 75% hearing, and diagnosed with diabetes, can't control his bladder too...but still, I remember him as a hardworking man of the house, toiling to feed his 8 children.

My mum's the lady in the picture. Watching over me, like a guardian angel. As for myself, its the little boy you see in the picture, savouring a bowl of "cheng ting" made by my grand-dad. All 3 generations in one picture, times of a bygone era, almost 25 years ago....brings back sweet and wonderful memories...
