10/03/2005 Thursday – Miami
We had a sumptuous breakfast at Denny’s, ordered a huge ass load of stuff. We also send Mil and Fai off in Universal Studios as they had to fly off to Atlanta. Everyone was pretty sad…another 2 close parties of the group had to leave..oh well. At least we have Miami to look forward to.
The drive to Miami was interesting. The place was swarming with enough convertibles on 1 hour that you could see for the rest of your life. This place was swarming with the filthy rich with the bling blings and fast wheels. But the traffic was terrible and the road structure was horrendous. The drivers were always aggressively cutting into each others lands in a split second…Very very stressful place to live in.
We tried to check into the hotel but we could not find parking as they were filming a Miller beer commercial behind our hotel. We thus took a nice stroll along the sando beach, and for the first time, really felt so relieved in the trip. We were chilling on the North beach and boy, did it feel good.
Soon after, we changed and went for dinner near our hotel. The girls pleasantly surprised me as they gave Han and myself a dinner treat as a reward for driving them so far safely.
We then went to buy a birthday cake for Ji Won as it was her birthday and drove to the South Point Beach to celebrate for her. Guess what, the car parked next to us had a couple making out…and we were barely cared…and stood at our car for so long…gosh, it must have been a horrible time for the couple…ahahah. We then strolled to the beach in pitch darkness and eventually made our way to a hotel’s poolside. We then celebrated there..it was a really cool place, where it had this tanning 4 post beds with white translucent curtains…placed under the swaying coconut tree, complete with cushions. I’m gonna get one of this someday for my garden
It was a night well spent…and we retired into bed, absolutely satisfied…
